MARKETING SPECIALIST CAREER OPPORTUNITY Submission Due Date 08/12/19

For this newly created position, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about marketing and business development, who would like to play a role in a busy, professional environment, and who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity,

 

As our Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies for Noseworthy Chapman and Janes & Noseworthy.  This role is varied and as a member of our administrative team, you will be involved in all aspects of the Firms’ marketing efforts, including advertising campaigns, business development activities and events, lead-generation programs, websites maintenance and enhancement, social media, and web presence.  You will be the Firms’ liaison with our outside marketing agency and for all other external marketing efforts.  As the Firms’ Marketing Specialist, you will also be responsible to ensure that the marketing strategies used by the Firms are effective and are functioning within the limits of the marketing budgets and are aligned with the strategic plans of the Firms.

 

If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:

 

  • Formal marketing, advertising, or related discipline education with a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Analytics and other web analysis tools, search engine optimization, website development and support software, and database management software
  • Proficiency with all social media platforms and a clear understanding of digital advertising
  • An aptitude for, and experience in, brand management, social media development, graphic design, and desktop publishing
  • Project management and event planning capabilities

Junior Staff Accountant - New Grad - Fall 2020 Submission Due Date 09/23/19

Noseworthy Chapman Chartered Professional Accountants has the opportunity for two full time permanent Junior Staff Accountant positions within our Audit and Assurance team. The position commences in September 2020 and is ideally suited for a new Commerce 2020 graduate. Successful candidates would be passionate about providing exemplary client service and planning to pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation program beginning in Fall 2020.

 

Responsibilities include:

 Reporting to Managers and Partner(s), assisting with the completion of A & A engagements such as audit, review and compilation engagements as well as assisting with the delivery of value-added services and solutions for our clients, and preparing corporate and personal tax returns. The successful candidates will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both clients and team members. In addition, the ability to take direction and constructive feedback are key requirements of the role.
