Colleen is a seasoned accounting professional with over 30 years of experience in public practice. Colleen’s areas of practice include assurance, accounting, tax and business advisory. Colleen takes pride in providing expert guidance to her clients, helping them optimize operations, improve financial performance, navigate challenges and offer informed insights and recommendations.

Colleen graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1994 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) degree and earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 1996 while working with Coopers & Lybrand in St. John’s. Colleen joined NKHK Chartered Accountants in 1997, now known as Noseworthy Chapman Chartered Professional Accountants. One of her proudest career milestones came in 2015 when she became an Audit & Assurance Partner at the Firm.

Throughout her career, Colleen has developed extensive expertise in managing assurance and related service engagements, working closely with both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Known for her strong client relationships and attention to detail, Colleen brings insight and care into every engagement.

Colleen also plays a vital leadership role within the Firm. As Chair of the Professional Training Committee and a member of the Standards Committee, she provides ongoing guidance on industry developments and best practices, helping to support both colleagues and clients alike. A natural people person, Colleen takes pride in every meeting, phone call, and thank-you she receives.

In addition to her professional work, Colleen is an active community leader. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Iris Kirby House, sits on the Board of Directors for the Belvedere Orphanage Fund, and acts as Treasurer for the Canadian International Dental Foundation.

Colleen lives in St. John’s with her husband, Gerry, and their two children, Evan and Leah.
