We are currently recruiting for a Director of Operations to lead our Accounting Services Group in St. John’s.  This group provides a full suite of accounting services along with payroll and commodity tax support, customized to meet the needs of the client.  Services include the preparation and recording of financial transactions including sales, purchases and payroll, related government reporting and financial reporting.


As the Director of Operations, you will provide services directly to our clients. However, your primary responsibility will be the oversight of the services provided by other team members.


The skills and attributes required for this position include:

  • Formal accounting education. CPA designation (Canada) would be an asset
  • 7 to 10 Years Management Experience
  • Proficient in accounting software including Sage 50, QuickBooks and/or Xero
  • Well-developed problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership and team building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
  • Analytical with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset
  • Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
