Experience in Accounting, Assurance, Tax and Management Advisory services as well as in Forensic Accounting, Litigation Support services and Commercial Insolvency services. David has been qualified as an expert witness in both the Provincial and Supreme courts of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Graduated Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) Degree and joined Noseworthy Chapman in 1989.

David married Valerie in Maui in 1996 and they have two dancing daughters, Emily and Ashley.

An avid snowmobiler, he loves the outdoors and getting away from civilization for a few days.

David received his professional designation as a Chartered Accountant in 1991, his Chartered Insolvency Practitioner designation and his License as a Trustee in Bankruptcy in 1997.

In recognition of his contributions to his profession and the community, in 2004, David was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador and then in 2013 was elected as a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.

David is past Chair of the Board and a past member of various committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador, Past Member of the Executive, Board and various committees of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, Past Treasurer of the United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador, Past Treasurer of the Board of the Belvedere Orphanage Fund and Past President of the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast.
