There’s more to being a business advisor than just the numbers.

Denise has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) specialized tax courses including Income Tax Practice, Tax Issues for Owner Managers, Wealth Preservation and Corporate Reorganizations.

Denise graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co­-op) Honours degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1990.

Denise received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1992, completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In­Depth Tax Program in 1994 and earned her designation as a Certified Financial Planner in 1999.

Denise is a frequent lecturer and author of numerous articles on tax matters affecting owner-­managers for various professional organizations including the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Denise and her husband John live in Mount Pearl with their two daughters, Megan, a Commerce student and Lauren, an Engineering student.

Prior to joining Noseworthy Chapman in 2012, Denise worked with a national CA firm and has over 25 years experience in the development and implementation of all aspects of corporate and shareholder tax and estate planning.

Denise’s favourite way to unwind during the summer and fall months is camping in her travel trailer. During the winter she enjoys skidooing and spending time with friends.
