With the COVID-19 pandemic spreading throughout the world, the health and safety of our clients, colleagues and families is our utmost concern. Rest assured that Noseworthy Chapman has taken a number of precautionary measures and has designed a response plan in accordance with Health Canadas guidance to help mitigate the risks from COVID-19.
While our offices remain open and fully operational, we will continue to keep a close eye on the situation. Should the outbreak pose a heightened threat resulting in a temporary shutdown, we have instituted a comprehensive remote work policy that will allow us to provide you uninterrupted service.
We will also be curtailing face to face meetings and visits to clients offices as much as possible, and utilizing technology options and, of course, the good old fashion telephone.
Consequently, we encourage clients to submit documents, records and other information electronically. Our client portal is designed to provide a safe and easy way to transfer information. If you are not already set up with our portal and are looking to submit documents via the portal, please contact us.
We will be monitoring any changes to tax filing deadlines announced by CRA and will provide updates as they become available.
During this challenging time, we are committed, as always, to fully serving your needs, meeting existing deadlines and delivering prompt responses to questions and concerns. Our thoughts are with all those affected by COVID-19. We wish you, your loved ones and your peers health and peace of mind as we continue to respond to worldwide health efforts to contain the situation.
